It's fairly clean hotel nestled in a Georgian style building in the lovely area. The breakfast is served in the restaurant! The location is central. The property is near plenty of bars and restaurants. When we visit Royal Tunbridge Wells, like staying here.

Compact bathroom with modern fixtures stands out. The air conditioning cools the room efficiently despite its size, a definite plus in warmer weather.
Navigating the poorly lit car park could feel a bit like a late-night expedition, especially with the bad surfaces. The steep stairs to upper floors add to the trek, particularly if you're hauling bags. While the small double room features a surprisingly comfy queen bed, two people might find it a tight fit. Hearing the kitchen staff's antics at breakfast can ruin the morning vibe. The breakfast timing confusion-the start time isn't clearly communicated-can leave you feeling a bit off for the start of the day.

The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.Great location was very central.
My room up the corridor from the kitchen so it was very noisy in the evening. No towels/iron/tea/coffee facilities in room on arrival.

The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was super comfortable, although small (although I had booked the small double so.!) the bathroom was lovely too and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved that the theme of the rooms went perfectly with the parisian bistro theme of the restaurant downstairs, and if we had had more time I would have liked to have checked out the bistro/bar, because it looks great, really well designed and a 200% improvement on what was there before!
It felt like more of a restaurant/bar with rooms, it was a bit confusing when we first got there whether we were in the right place as there is no reception desk, you just come in to the bar and ask at the bar. Therefore it was sometimes not clear who to ask for things, and sometimes the staff themselves weren't clear, for example, we had a coffee when we arrived and I asked the waitress for a hairdryer as there didn't seem to be anyone else, which felt a bit weird. To be fair, she did get it, but she did seem a little confused herself. However, the bar and hotel did seem quite new, so hopefully these things will smooth themselves out as they get more guests in.

Good decor, pleasant staff and central location
Stayed in a family room backing on to the main road at the back of the hotel, Awful road noise all night meant we barely slept. Room desperately needs secondary glazing.

The service was discrete but extremely efficient and polite. The shower was great and beds comfortable with good quality towels/ bedding etc. Lovely breakfast too.
There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.

We played golf at Tunbridge Wells Golf Club and visited Nevill Golf Club, both fantastic. The service was attentive, and the breakfast was delicious. Just a tip, consider reserving a double room for more space!
If you're on the upper floors, be prepared for some exercise.

Would stay here again
The room was really comfy with a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and fresh towels. It had a tv, electric kettle for tea and coffee, and a wardrobe for storage. Breakfast had epic options like pancakes with fresh ingredients. Great spots nearby like the Spa Railway were just a short walk away.

Just a suitable option for a flying visit in Royal Tunbridge Wells with value for price. The hotel is styled really well, but the family room faced the busy road which was really noisy.
